NOTICE ! MARK YOUR CALENDARS ! Todd, WB2ZAB, and Jim, W3NRJ, are hosting the 2014 version of the 2014 Fowlfest at the QTH of W3NRJ<br>

The clubs will provide soft drinks and beer, as well as chicken and bags of chips/dip. BRING A POT LUCK SIDE DISH TO COMPLEMENT THE CHICKEN AND/OR A DESERT.<br>

This year's Fowlfest will again be held at the QTH of W3NRJ on the breezy backyard knoll...in the antenna farm and under the shade of the<br>
cherry trees... that's in Darnestown, MD, just two miles from Gaithersburg and 9 miles from the I-270 Darnestown/Rockville exit. The address is...<br>

This is also first call for VOLUNTEERS to help set up tables by coming at 9:30, the morning of the event while Todd and I get the fires going.<br>

NOTE : This year I will supply tables for 40-50, but the nursing home chairs borrowed and used previously are NOT available this year. So BRING A FOLDING CHAIR<br>
suitable for joining others at a table, or a lounge chair and tray if you wish. (I have some chairs for those forgetting, but not many.)<br>

Note that Aug 24 will be the rain date. However, if we set the HOURS from 11:30 -- 2:30 for the August Saturday 23rd, we may just beat any typical<br>
summer late afternoon storms.<br>
